With industrial or commercial properties, there are generally high values to be protected - both material and immaterial assets. Crime is constantly rising here, too. A well-positioned video surveillance can contribute significantly towards solving cases or be used for deterrence. There are various areas to be secured: entrance area, driveway of the premises, car park, workshops, loading area or the outer fence. A particular challenge here is to monitor several separate buildings with individual adjustments to be set from each building.

This scenario includes 6 separate buildings, each to be monitored with a COMFORT Line 8-channel network video recorder and 4 x COMFORT Line 3 megapixel network colour camera IOC-2812BV. The recorders and camer­as can be integrated into the existing network structure. With the free VMS software, already existing company computers can be used to display the video signals. Each computer with this VMS software can access any recorder and camera individually via the network. There are 6 recorders with 4 cameras each applied in this concept. It is possible to display all of the applied cameras at the same time. The various individual settings possible are particularly important for larger companies. For a doorman, different requirements have to be met than for a production manager in the workshops. This is not a problem with the COMFORT Line which allows you to access the data individually at any time.
