Since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, screens made of safety glass or acrylic glass equally protect staff, patients and customers. The TALKSAFE and TALKSAFE-1 ensure clear and intelligible communication at checkouts, information desks, etc. despite safety distance, hygiene walls and face masks. 

TALKSAFE and TALKSAFE-1 can very easily be integrated into your environment and workflows:

The intercom systems TALKSAFE and TALKSAFE-1 make good and safe communication possible again - without speaking louder, leaning forward or bypassing the protective wall. TALKSAFE and TALKSAFE-1 can be quickly and easily attached to any hygiene barrier, making communication easier in, for example, pharmacies, medical practices, stores and supermarkets, as well as in visiting boxes in retirement homes.

The choice is yours: The complete set TALKSAFE or "Standard" is particularly suitable for workplaces where staff stands or sits firmly at one spot and does not move away from the call station. With the complete set TALKSAFE-1 or "Bluetooth", staff can move within a radius of 5-10 meters from the call station without losing contact to the customer, thanks to a Bluetooth headset.

TALKSAFE

The complete set TALKSAFE is particularly suitable for workplaces where personnel stands or sits firmly in one place and does not move away from the call station. The TALKSAFE kit consists of:

  • 1 x microphone station for customers
  • 1 x microphone station for staff
  • 1 x power supply
  • Incl. required cables
  • Incl. double-sided adhesive tape

Setup and start-up: Stick the devices to the hygienic wall using the supplied double-sided adhesive tape and connect them with the supplied cable. Plug in power supply unit. Communicate clearly and effortlessly.

During the first start-up, the TALKSAFE automatically adjusts to the respective environment for approx. 30 seconds. Echoes and feedback should no longer occur afterwards.

Solution:

Background noise and face masks make clear communication between patients and practice staff difficult: the fully automatic intercom system TALKSAFE ensures clear and intelligible communication dispite protective measures, it is quickly and easily mounted on the hygiene protection wall. The intercom TALKSAFE is installed at the reception and is equipped with infrared sensors and automatically detects whether a person is standing in front of the device.   

A PA-1120RC command microphone is available at the reception desk for announcements or patient calls by the practice staff. In addition, further table microphones are installed in the treatment rooms to enable announcements from the  treatment rooms to the waiting area. The voice output is provided by built-in loudspeakers of the type EDL-15 and EDL-22/WS. Command microphones and ceiling speakers are connected to the mixing amplifier PA-1120, which provides 120 W and can be upgraded with plug-in modules for various functions if required.

The mobile version: Thanks to Bluetooth, employees can move within a radius of 5-10 meters away from the call station without losing contact with the customer. The TALKSAFE-1 kit consists of:

  • 1 x microphone station for customers
  • 1 x on-ear headset for staff (Bluetooth)
  • 1 x power supply
  • Incl. required cables
  • Incl. double-sided adhesive tape

Setup and start-up: Stick the devices to the hygienic wall using the supplied double-sided adhesive tape and connect them with the supplied cable. Switch on the headset and put it on. Communicate intelligibly and effortlessly.

During the first start-up, the TALKSAFE automatically adjusts to the respective environment for approx. 30 seconds. Echoes and feedback should no longer occur afterwards. Connect up to 8 Bluetooth headsets: The TALKSAFE-HS is optionally available.
