With the new SL-60WS/EN (white) and SL-60SW/EN (black), MONACOR expands its SL series with a compact, weatherproof PA speaker featuring a 60 W power rating. This extends the MONACOR SL series to three power classes. Certified in accordance with EN 54-24, the loudspeakers are suitable for voice alarm systems as well as professional audio applications in indoor and outdoor environments. They are Made and Engineered in Germany.
The two new models operate in both 100 V PA systems and 8 Ω low-impedance applications, allowing flexible integration into a wide range of audio installations. The 2-way bass reflex system with a 13 cm (5.25") coaxial loudspeaker, high-frequency driver and integrated crossover ensures excellent speech intelligibility as well as balanced sound reproduction.
With a frequency range of 100 Hz to 24 kHz, a sensitivity of 89 dB/W/m and a maximum rated sound pressure level of 95.6 dB, the loudspeakers are suitable for both reliable speech transmission and high-quality background music. The robust ABS enclosure with metal protective grille is IP66-rated, providing protection against dust and powerful water jets, making it suitable for permanent outdoor use. The recessed connection terminal with cover plate and PG cable gland facilitates installation even in demanding environments. The supplied mounting bracket made of stainless steel enables durable and corrosion-resistant installation. A safety cable is also included.

The new models complement the existing SL series, which already includes the more powerful SL-150../EN and SL-250../EN loudspeakers, both certified according to EN 54-24 (also available in white and black). The series now offers a complete product family ranging from 60 to 250 watts, covering a wide variety of requirements for voice alarm and sound reinforcement systems – from compact installations to sports venues, industrial facilities and public buildings.
