In a hurry?

Only selling audio technology? That's never been enough for us

What's been clear for a long time: retail has had to reinvent itself in many technical sectors. Simply selling a product range is not enough in the long term. We have therefore been offering our business partners targeted marketing support for decades. Our customers have also been working very successfully with our Technical Project Management (TPM)  for many years. Our TPM takes on a hinge function and combines two of our most important services:

  1. We help installers and fitters with planning if they have no personnel or time capacities in this area themselves.
  2. We provide planning offices with technology consulting when they need a detailed technical perspective or help in preparing a quotation.

If they lack the necessary know-how, installers and expert planners can call their respective dealer – but this usually only applies on certain days and times. Our technical contacts are also sometimes in a meeting, on holiday or off at the weekend. However, not all experts will dare to ask about a supposed(!) matter of course, although this should be quite normal. The range of expertise in stage technology, PA and audio networks is so vast that nobody can know everything. We found a solution to be there anyway.

The Academy is more than just an opportunity to fill knowledge gaps or initiate further training. Innovative products require some explaining, even for expert customers. While the actual mode of operating is usually known, many are unaware of the potential opportunities of the product in various scenarios. Our development work and acoustic laboratory have given us the appropriate experience. Why should we deprive our customers of that? Our motivation: knowledge grows when shared.

Five reasons why we decided to focus on e-learning content as a first step

The COVID pandemic was a strong argument for digital learning. However, we started the conceptual work on the Academy long before the pandemic. The reasons why we rely heavily on e-learning or, as far as possible, hybrid models such as blended learning are as follows:

  1. Our customers can decide for themselves when to consume learning content. There are no training dates or travelling costs for on-site courses.
  2. Learning videos are ready on all end-user devices: mobile learning is possible, everywhere!
  3. You can watch our training videos in groups of any size, instead of sending the whole team to a classroom training session.
  4. Our customers can choose their own learning pace and watch the videos as often as they like.
  5. Course content is organised to fit individual needs, letting participants start exactly where it suits their individual knowledge levels. There is no obligation to follow too demanding or oversimplified learning content.

One important aspect of training courses is clearly missing: teacher interaction and the opportunity to ask questions. Our solution: we will also be offering digital live training courses in the future.
