Safety, Information and Musical Entertainment: Audio Technology at a Campsite Has to Meet Particularly Versatile Requirements

At campsites, it is essential to provide a high-quality voice for clear announcements throughout the campsite. The PA system is connected to a 24 V emergency power supply in order to ensure a reliable transmission of announcements, even in case of a power failure. The premises will be divided into different zones with variable call groups for transmitting specific information or intended elimination of certain areas. The division is based on the functional areas of the campsite: parking bays of camper vans, tent pitches, sanitary facilities and restaurant as well as the reception.

Speech Intelligibility and Music Reproduction with Our Basic Campsite Set

With the weatherproof horn speakers IT-40, you can ensure a comprehensive PA application across the entire outdoor area. For an unobtrusive reproduction of background music, we are using 2-way wall-mount speakers ESP-232/SW. In addition, we have also applied the 2-way speakers WALL-06T/SW with IP 65 certification to provide a well-balanced and unobtrusive background music on the restaurant terrace. The speaker series are driven by mono mixing amplifier PA-6480 with a power rating of 480 W for up to 6 zones. A connected desktop microphone PA-4000PTT in the office or at the reception is used as a microphone station for making important announcements.

Indoors or Outdoors, Quiet or Entertainment: the Extended Campsite Setup

The areas of application at a campsite are divided into various indoor and outdoor areas. Campsites and tent pitches, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops, spa areas, saunas and swimming pool areas have got different tasks and functions which need to be considered with the respective PA application.

Specific indoor PA applications

In noisy indoor areas, e.g. bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops, we are using modern ceiling speakers EDL-606 or EDL-26 for an unobtrusive yet powerful PA application. For indoor areas with a high humidity content, e.g. in spa areas, saunas and swimming pool areas, we are using the weatherproof and temperature-resistant 2-way ceiling speakers EDL-156 for relaxing background music.

Amplifiers, speakers, etc. for outdoor applications

With the weatherproof horn speaker IT-115 for short distances and the IT-60 for more extensive grounds, you can ensure a comprehensive PA application to cover the entire outdoor area of the campsite. The UHC-30 allows you to achieve a perfect PA application for noisy outdoor areas such as the beach. For the unobtrusive reproduction of background music in outdoor areas, we have used 2-way wall-mount speakers ESP-232/SW. In addition, the 2-way speakers WALL-06T/WS with IP65 certification provide a well-balanced sound for the reproduction of unobtrusive background music on the restaurant terrace.
