The DX series from MONACOR includes the two compact 4-zone amplifiers PA-4125DX and PA-4125DX/DT in half-19-inch format, the 8-zone multifunctional amplifier PA-8125DX and the PA-4500DX with 4 x 500 W (4 Ω), 4 x 400 W (8 Ω) or 2 x 1,000 W (100 V). The PA-8125DX multifunctional amplifier - powered by PASCAL - is the logical addition to MONACOR's successful DX amplifier series. With an output of either 8 x 125 W into 4 or 8 ohms or 4 x 250 W for 100-volt components, it offers maximum flexibility and reliability for modern audio installations.

Class D technology ensures high energy efficiency - ideal for multi-zone projects where continuous operation and low maintenance are required. A temperature-controlled fan unit ensures quiet operation and, together with extensive safety functions, provides reliable protection against overload.

The amplifier comes with a graphical HTML5 user interface for configuring and controlling the signal processor, which can be accessed using a standard web browser on a computer or mobile device: For each output, corrections for adaptation to the sound reproduction area (e.g. equalizer, signal delay) can be made separately. In addition, speaker-specific settings (e.g. level limiting, correction filter, signal delay) can be made for each output. These settings can be saved as “Speaker Presets” and managed in “Speaker Libraries” for later use.

Solution

The EDL-82HQ in-ceiling loudspeakers blend unobtrusively into the surroundings in the guest area. The 2-way 20 cm (8") coaxial speakers ensure very good sound quality with homogeneous radiation characteristics. The other areas are also filled with pleasant background music: Weatherproof, IP65-certified WALL-06T/WS or WALL-06T/SW loudspeakers are used outdoors, while EDL-62HQ ceiling-mounted loudspeakers are installed in the sanitary facilities.

The PA-4125DX/DT multifunctional amplifier is used for signal transmission to all three zones and allows a flexible signal routing of connected audio sources to one or more zones. It is conveniently connected to any end device (PC, MAC, IOS, Android, etc.) via LAN or WLAN. The graphical user interface simplifies control and function, provides numerous configuration options and offers comprehensive access to the system setup and audio configuration menu. The WP-1/BK wall module is also installed on the counter for quick and easy operation. The WIIM-PRO audio streamer makes it easy to stream music in the WIIM-Home app within 2 minutes and transmit it wirelessly via the integrated Bluetooth receiver.
